PAG 2026

An art deco world for the Power Awards Gala, held at Hotel Xcaret Arte in Mexico in March 2026. Red velvet and brass, hotel corridors, a telephone at the centre of a spiral of keys, and a monogram behind a curtain.

I built it with Matthew Collamore, who runs our motion design team, and we split it down the middle. The logo loop was half each. The curtain and the telephone in its spiral of keys were mine, and the hallway was my idea, but his version’s the one that ran, along with a couple of scenes he added. My hallway is further down, as far as I took it.

The credits were mine and all of them are handmade. They run close to five minutes, the names rolling past flat cut-outs of the gala’s objects, keys, the telephone, a bell and a cloche, in pink on burgundy for one department and on black for the next.
